Bargaly Wood
Ideal for first timers, families and the kids or for those who reckon it’s been too long since they have got in the saddle! This is a pleasant 6km trail which can take anything from 30 minutes to an hour to complete.
Larg Hill
Once you’ve got used to the easier Bargaly green route you might be ready to step it up a gear. Around 30 per cent of the trail is singletrack with the occasional small rock drop here and there so it’s a great introduction to mountain biking for novices, families and children.
The Twister
More experienced bikers will want to head out on the Twister trail which is 14km long and takes an average rider around one and a half hours to complete.
Black Craigs
The Black Craigs trail is an additional 15km loop to the Twister trail, taking in some very difficult riding along the way with steep drops, chutes and climbs.
Skills area
The new skills area at Kirroughtree is now open - Blue, Red and Black graded loops in the fenced area of woods next to the lead out from the car park. Test your skill level before riding the trails or just come and play. |
