Just a quick line to say a big thank you Lesley for making our holiday so enjoyable! Great walks, fresh air, scenery, food all on tap with LOTS of peace and quite! Total get away from it all safe camp site, with breath taking night skies! Best toilet block we have seen with lots of room to shower the whole family. My kids are looking forward to seeing the games room next time we stay.

We have just spent the most relaxing few days at the site. Excellently situated and convenient for a variety of pursuits. The views are quite spectacular, the facilities first class and the pitches well proportioned giving ample space to enjoy the surroundings in peace and quiet. A great deal of thought has gone into the planning and layout. The laundry facility is a bonus, not to mention the very inviting games/play room. Lesley and Ralph the owners, could not have been more helpful and we wish them every success with the venture. Diary dates pencilled in for the forthcoming summer season.

One of the best sites we have been to in a campervan (and that includes the islands!) Sue needed the break and found it perfectly in Galloway, specifically at Drumroamin. When we phoned you from Loch Ken, we had obviously no idea about your site-but now we shall not forget it! Thank you for the delightful hospitality you offered and for providing never to be forgotten views (even from in bed!) of our special bird every day. Birds at Drumroamin 25th - 30th June 2005 Meadow Pipit and young; Wren, Blackbird; Skylark and young; House Martin; Wheatear and young; Swallow, Swift; Starling and young; Dunnock; Pied Wagtail and young; Willow Warbler; Linnet; Chaffinch; Greenfinch; Goldfinch; Collared Dove; Stock Dove; Shag; Cormorant; Buzzard; Curlew; Shelduck; Redshank; Lapwing; Mallard; Blue Tit; Carrion Crow; Rook; Jackdaw; Kestral; Heron; Oystercatcher; Herring Gull; Black Headed Gull; Lesser Black Backed Gull; Greater Black Backed Gull; Pheasant; Osprey and young (on camera CCTVat Wigtown).
